Designed in mission style architecture as a nod to the nearby Mission San Rafael, the new Aegis community complements the surrounding neighborhood, while the exterior design and landscaping allow ease of access to the walkable area.
The community features 101 senior living suites, with units specified for assisted living and memory care. While each living suite features a kitchenette, meals are provided on site for residents in the commercial grade kitchen.
The project includes a resident dining room and outdoor dining space, an activity room, fitness and wellness facility, and a cinema auditorium. A rooftop terrace allows residents an additional outdoor recreation venue. With four floors at over 112,000 square feet, the property also features subterranean parking on site. Located in the North Bay region of Marin County, San Rafael offers a quaint downtown within walking distance to the new Aegis Living San Rafael.
