Located within the Ohana East Hotel in Waikiki, the Appetito Craft Pizza and Wine Bar was constructed as a design-assist renovation, making way for the new upscale restaurant.

The project team worked to limit impact to guests in the busy hotel and vicinity which is located adjacent to the International Market Place. The renovations include new HVAC, electrical, plumbing, bar relocation, updated exterior storefronts, and new kitchen equipment.

Appetito offers contemporary Italian cuisine with the influence of local flavors. A key feature of the restaurant and modern menu is the pizza oven, which marked the first installation of its kind in Waikiki. The KPRS Hawaii team met the unique challenge of installing the solid fuel-burning product.
